The Free Beach Gabbiano is located in Palmaria Island . From here you can admire in all its beauty, the entire village of Porto Venere, the San Pietro's Church, the Castello.To arrive to Porto Venere, you can read the exhaustive page of the Pro Loco (tourist office). Once you have arrived in the country then move to the island of Palmaria. The Gabbiano Beach is connected to the mainland by private boat (Consorzio barcaioli di Portovenere) who have their starting point in front of the Bar Lamia, near Piazza Bastreri, terminal point of vehicular traffic. These connections are made daily from 09.00 to 19.00. You can also reach the Palmaria island with the service of the "big boat" large vessels that carry the passenger service starting from Portovenere and La Spezia (for information, visit the Navigazione Golfo dei Poeti site).
